The cane comes with your choice of tip configuration. The single-tip is the standard choice for everyday walking—light, direct, and easy to place. The quad-tip gives you a wider footprint on the ground, which some people prefer when they want extra stability on uneven surfaces or carpeted floors. Both use a rubber compound that grips on tile, concrete, and carpet without squeaking or sliding.

Fits you, actually.

Ten height settings cover users from roughly 4'7" to 6'3" (1.4m to 1.9m). Once you find your number, you twist the locking collar to secure it. No push-button that wears out, no wobble after a month. The shaft stays where you put it.

The handle is where you'll notice the difference.

The grip is shaped with a slight contour that supports the palm instead of digging into it. Three finishes are available:

• Carbon fiber pattern — matches the shaft, modern and understated.

• Gold phoebe wood — warm tone, natural grain, no two exactly alike.

• Chicken-wing wood — darker, denser grain with a classic look.
